W pierwszym etapie temat zosta\u0142 wybrany i przyj\u0119ty przez komisj\u0119 konkursow\u0105 z kilkudziesi\u0119ciu nades\u0142anych propozycji. Projektu Politechnika aktywnie budzi zainteresowanie m\u0142odzie\u017cy ze szk\u00f3\u0142 ponadpodstawowych naukami \u015bcis\u0142ymi. Uczniowie pod opiek\u0105 nauczyciela ze szko\u0142y mgr in\u017c. Kamila Witkowskiego oraz opiekun\u00f3w naukowych z uczelni profesora Politechniki \u015al\u0105skiej dr hab. in\u017c. Wojciecha Skarki i doktoranta mgr in\u017c.
